Sundays
There is something about the softness of a cloudy day that always calls me home. Even with twenty different shoulds, in the dimness of a rolling storm, I always find myself longing for the comfort of familiar. There is a peace and clarity to be gained from simple days. As I sit here with my knitting in my lap and a hot tea not too far, I cannot help but feel that this is exactly how Sundays were meant to be spent. There is nothing so good for the soul as being home, truly home.
I took these photographs while using my 50mm lens, on a dim Winter’s day. Because of the lack of light, I was able to create a moody look. You can learn more about the equipment here. You can also see the full photo gallery for this post here on Flickr.
