Moss Stitch
The Moss stitch is one of my classic fallbacks for any knitting project. I used this stitch pattern for Section 2 in the Heidi wrap to give the finger weight piece some added texture. The Moss stitch is a slight variation from the Seed stitch, with the pattern working an extra row before alternating Knits and Purls. The added row allows the texture of the stitch to become more defined, giving any piece an added interest.

The Pattern
Using any set of needles,
Cast On in sets of 2
Rows 1-2: *Knit One, Purl One* Repeat from * to * to end of row.
Rows 3-4: *Purl One, Knit One* Repeat from * to * to end of row.
Repeat rows 1-4 until the piece is desired length.
