This is my go-to hiking blanket. Light enough for easy carry, but warm enough for those cold days. Whether heading out for a picnic or sitting by a campfire, this blanket makes everything just a little cozier. Plus, it is photogenic. I take it with me just about everywhere I go.
Hiking Blanket Pattern
The blanket wraps up nice and tight, making it an easy carry when out hiking.
The Materials
- 2 yards of cotton fabric with 44inch length.
- I bought Joann’s Black and White Plaiditudes for this project.
Using cotton fabric allows the blanket to be thrown in the wash often, without doing any major damage to the fabric or color.
Pattern
All you need to do is hem the sides so it doesn’t unravel, and then you are ready to go!
I chose to serge the edges instead of hemming for one of my blankets and it has held up well to use.
Happy hiking!
