
Curved Lines: A Knitting Stitch Pattern
For this stitch pattern, I decided to play off of the idea of vines. Because of the adding and decreasing in stitches in this pattern, this pattern has really cool curved edges.

The Pattern
K: Knit P: Purl YO: Yarn Over SK2PO: Slip 1, Knit 2 Together, Pass Over
Using any set of needles,
Cast On in sets of 8
Row1: Knit Across
Rows 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16: Purl Across
Row3: *K2, YO, K1, YO, K2, SK2PO* Repeat from * to * to end of row.
Row5: * K1, YO, K1, YO, K2, SK2PO, K1 * Repeat from * to * to end of row.
Repeat rows 5-8 once more
Row13: *K2, SK2PO, K1, YO, K1, YO, K1* Repeat from * to * to end of row.
Row15: * K1, SK2PO, K1, YO, K1, YO, K2 * Repeat from * to * to end of row.
Repeat rows 13-16 once more
Repeat rows 5-16 until the piece is desired length.
Finishing: Repeat rows 1-4, binding off on the 4th row.
