The Atlantic Ocean
Not long ago, I visited the Atlantic Ocean in Georgia. It was a rather dreary visit, with the landscape covered in a monochromatic palette. Yet, even the seemingly lifeless scene had beauty. Birds fluttered against the gray sky, leaving little more than a silhouette to be seen. The whole world felt as though it were living within a dream. Every moment was slow and thought out, and time passed gently. Somehow, it made reality seem silly and simple seem smart. I was overcome with a feeling that there was nothing more important than being there, present at that moment.
